Specialist Process Engineer – Abu Dhabi

About the role

Worley is seeking a Specialist Process Engineer to lead technical assurance and compliance for contractor deliverables on major oil & gas and petrochemical projects in Abu Dhabi. The role ensures that process designs meet company standards, regulatory codes, and HSE requirements while supporting project schedules.

Key responsibilities

• Verify technical integrity of process deliverables against legislation, codes, standards and the project’s Basis of Design.
• Monitor, review and approve contractor and licensor process engineering designs, procedures and schedules.
• Coordinate exchange of process documents between the Integrated Project Management Team and contractors, acting as the single point of contact.
• Lead process design reviews, manage change requests and ensure compliance with scope, quality and HSE objectives.
• Support procurement, construction and commissioning activities through document approvals, inspections and punch‑listing.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline (minimum 4 years of study).
• At least 15 years of relevant experience in oil & gas or petrochemical industry, including 5 years on mega projects.
• Minimum 5 years of GCC experience; offshore and ADNOC project experience required.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.
