Engineering Practical Trainer / Assessor B1 (Emiratisation)

About the role

Emirates Engineering is seeking an Engineering Practical Trainer / Assessor B1 to deliver hands‑on maintenance training for UAE nationals and external candidates. The role is based at the Emirates Engineering Maintenance Centre in Dubai and supports the National Engineering Aircraft Maintenance Engineering Licence (AMEL) programme and type‑training on the EK fleet.

Key responsibilities

• Organise aircraft and resources for Structured Practical Training in coordination with the Aircraft Scheduling, Line Maintenance and Base Maintenance departments.
• Prepare and raise required documentation (NRI, logbook entries) in line with the Engineering Procedure Manual.
• Allocate work with hangar shift managers to complete practical training tasks as recorded in training logbooks.
• Ensure all Structured Practical Training, On‑Job Training and AMEL logbook entries are fully completed and compliant before final certification.
• Monitor trainee performance, conduct regular assessments, sign off logbooks and report strengths and weaknesses to the Engineering Training Manager.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of company technical publications and regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• Background in aircraft maintenance and practical training delivery.
• Familiarity with GCAA‑CAR 147 MTO, EASA standards and AMEL programme requirements.
• Ability to coordinate with multiple maintenance and scheduling teams.
• Strong attention to detail for documentation and compliance.
