Engineering Type Instructor

About the role

Emirates Engineering Training seeks an Engineering Type Instructor (B2) to deliver approved type and task training for the EK fleet. The role is based at the Emirates Engineering Maintenance Centre in Dubai and supports both UAE nationals and external candidates.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct Aircraft Type Cat B1.1/B2, Cat A, Cat C and general familiarisation courses, including cabin maintenance, engine overhaul, and borescope inspection.
• Deliver Basic AME License modules (1‑17) and other mandatory courses such as Human Factors, UAE Aviation Legislation, and Electrical Wire Interconnected System.
• Develop, organise, and update new and existing courses in line with the Engineering Procedures Manual, MOE and MTOE.
• Prepare high‑quality training materials (notes, presentations, aids) complying with GCAA CAR 66/145/147 and EASA Part 66/145/147 standards.
• Act as a designated examiner, creating and revising examination questions and question banks.
