English Teacher – International School

About the role

The British International School Abu Dhabi is seeking an enthusiastic English Teacher to join its K‑12 community. You will deliver the English curriculum across primary, secondary and post‑16 programmes, inspiring learners of diverse abilities and cultural backgrounds.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, deliver and assess English lessons in line with the UK National Curriculum, IGCSE and IB Diploma standards.
• Develop engaging classroom resources and utilise the school’s extensive learning materials.
• Provide pastoral care and support students’ personal development.
• Communicate regularly with parents to monitor progress and address concerns.
• Contribute to extracurricular activities and school-wide events.

Required profile

• Passionate about teaching with a commitment to continuous improvement.
• Strong experience delivering the UK National Curriculum; experience in international settings is an advantage.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to build relationships with students, parents and colleagues.
• Adaptable, collaborative and able to thrive in a fast‑paced, multicultural environment.
