EPLAN Draughtsman – Electrical Design Specialist

About the role

The Draughtsman (EPLAN/ELCAD) will create accurate electrical schematics, panel layouts and technical documentation for power and solar rooftop projects. Working closely with engineering and project teams, you will translate design concepts into detailed drawings that meet industry standards and client requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Develop general arrangement, layout and assembly drawings for control and protection panels, including cubicles and sub‑assemblies.
• Prepare detailed fabrication drawings for sheet‑metal parts, mounting plates, sub‑panels and busbar systems with full dimensions, tolerances and notes.
• Create electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, termination drawings and panel layouts using EPLAN.
• Generate and maintain device tags, cable schedules, terminal diagrams and Bills of Materials.
• Ensure all drawings comply with company standards, client specifications and relevant codes such as IEC and NFPA.
• Update and revise drawings in response to engineering changes, site feedback and as‑built requirements.

Required profile

• Proven experience in electrical drafting for high‑voltage or industrial projects.
• Familiarity with industry standards and codes (IEC, NFPA).
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work collaboratively with engineering teams.
