Estimation Engineer – Interior Fitout

About the role

The Estimation Engineer – Interior Fitout will manage all cost‑related aspects of interior fit‑out projects for a leading contractor in Dubai. You will work closely with project managers, designers, procurement teams and clients to ensure value for money while maintaining quality and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates, BOQs and budgets for interior fit‑out projects.
• Analyse tender documents, drawings and specifications to define scope and pricing.
• Manage procurement: obtain quotations, negotiate with subcontractors and prepare cost comparisons.
• Monitor project costs throughout the lifecycle and highlight variances against the budget.
• Prepare and submit interim valuations, progress claims and payment applications.
• Assess and certify subcontractor payment applications and variations.
• Produce cost reports, cash‑flow forecasts and financial summaries for management and clients.
• Conduct site visits to verify work progress and align financial reports with actual work.
• Support contract administration, risk management and dispute resolution.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering or a related field.
• 1–2 years of experience in quantity surveying, preferably within interior fit‑out.
• Strong knowledge of interior fit‑out materials, methods and market rates.
• Excellent analytical, negotiation and communication abilities.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
