Estimator – Architectural Ironmongery

About the role

Silver Shore is seeking a technically‑focused Estimator to join its Dubai team. You will translate architectural drawings, door schedules and fire‑life‑safety (FLS) documents into precise hardware schedules that support some of the region’s most iconic landmarks.

Key responsibilities

• Read floor plans and door schedules to identify each door and its parameters.
• Interpret FLS drawings to determine escape routes and required hardware specifications.
• Cross‑reference architectural, door and FLS data to build accurate preliminary ironmongery schedules.
• Enter finalized data into Silver Shore’s bespoke software to generate complete project hardware schedules.

Required profile

• Background in engineering, architecture or quantity surveying.
• Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Detail‑oriented, methodical approach with excellent Excel proficiency.
• Guild of Architectural Ironmongers (GAI) qualification or training is a strong advantage.
