Estimator - Bridges

About the role

We are seeking a highly experienced Estimator specializing exclusively in new bridge construction projects in the UAE. The role focuses on pre‑contract estimation and tendering for upcoming bridge works, including flyovers, interchanges and elevated structures.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates and tender submissions for new bridge construction projects.
• Review and interpret IFC drawings, specifications and tender documents specific to bridge works.
• Perform detailed quantity take‑offs for foundations, substructure and superstructure components.
• Develop comprehensive rate analysis for bridge‑specific activities such as precast segmental construction, launching girder operations and specialized formwork.
• Coordinate with engineering, planning and procurement teams to obtain accurate pricing inputs.
• Evaluate and finalize subcontractor and supplier quotations for specialized bridge works.
• Prepare technical and commercial tender submissions in line with client requirements.
• Conduct value engineering and cost optimisation exercises during the tender stage.

Required profile

• Minimum 7 + years of UAE experience in estimation of bridge construction projects.
• Proven experience with main contractors executing bridge or highway infrastructure projects.
• Strong expertise in bridge construction methodologies (cast‑in‑situ, precast, segmental, post‑tensioning) and temporary works.
• Familiarity with UAE authority standards (RTA, DOT, ADM, etc.).
• Experience handling multiple tenders under tight deadlines.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Candy software (mandatory).
• BOQ preparation and rate build‑ups.
• Quantity take‑offs for bridge components.
• Tendering procedures and commercial submission preparation.
