Events Executive

About the role

We are looking for an Events Executive to lead sales initiatives and manage client relationships for our luxury hotel in Dubai. The role focuses on achieving revenue targets, developing new business opportunities, and ensuring seamless event execution.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve assigned sales targets, KPIs, and revenue objectives.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, key accounts, and business partners.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities through market research and networking.
• Conduct client presentations, site inspections, and hotel show‑arounds.
• Prepare sales forecasts and monitor account and segment performance.
• Maintain accurate booking information in Opera and Delphi.
• Work closely with internal departments to ensure effective communication and smooth coordination of client requirements.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify business opportunities.
• Support the Events team with client engagement, sales initiatives, and other assigned activities.

Required profile

• College or university education; Business, Hospitality, Sales, or Marketing qualification preferred.
• Minimum 2–3 years of sales experience, preferably within a 5‑star hotel or luxury hospitality environment.
• Strong sales, negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Commercially focused with a proactive, results‑oriented approach.
• Excellent customer relationship and account management skills.
• Well‑organized with strong attention to detail and time management.
• Flexible to work according to business and event requirements.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Experience with Opera property management system.
• Familiarity with Delphi booking software.
