Events Manager – Hotel Catering & Meetings

About the role

We are seeking a dynamic and self‑motivated Events Manager to lead the meeting, catering and event segment at Beach Rotana Abu Dhabi. You will be the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring seamless planning, execution and post‑event follow‑up while driving revenue for the hotel.

Key responsibilities

• Sell off‑site events and venue spaces.
• Handle all meeting and catering enquiries following standard procedures.
• Act as a one‑stop shop for clients, coordinating detailed event planning with banquet operations, food & beverage, rooms division, finance and external suppliers.
• Optimize hotel revenue through strategic yield management and upselling of facilities and services.
• Collaborate with the MICE sales team to achieve monthly sales targets.
• Conduct site inspections, client entertainment and familiarisation tours.
• Prepare and send all client correspondence, including proposals, confirmations, agreements and amendments.

Required profile

• Degree in Hospitality or related field (preferred).
• Previous experience in catering sales within a hotel environment.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal, negotiation and customer‑focused attitude.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented setting.
