Executive Pricing (Road Freight)

About the role

DP World is looking for an Executive Pricing professional to support and optimise product and pricing strategies for UAE road freight and transport operations. You will analyse market trends, competitor pricing, fleet costs and customer requirements to develop competitive and profitable pricing structures for domestic and cross‑border services.

Key responsibilities

• Own, support and optimise pricing strategies for FTL, LTL, dedicated fleet and cross‑border road freight services.
• Conduct regular analysis of UAE and GCC market trends, competitor pricing, customer demand and capacity movements.
• Analyse transportation and fleet operating costs, including fuel, tolls, driver expenses, maintenance, leasing and subcontractor rates.
• Identify revenue and margin improvement opportunities through pricing reviews, route optimisation, customer segmentation and contract negotiations.
• Support commercial teams in negotiating pricing agreements with customers, vendors and subcontractors.
• Monitor pricing performance metrics and operational KPIs such as margin, utilisation, revenue per truck and lane profitability.
• Ensure compliance with DP World policies, UAE transport regulations and commercial governance standards.
• Assess and mitigate pricing risks related to fuel volatility, route restrictions, capacity fluctuations and market changes.

Required profile

• Minimum 36 months of experience in pricing, transport operations or logistics.
• Strong analytical mindset with ability to interpret market data and cost structures.
• Proven ability to work cross‑functionally with operations, fleet, commercial and finance teams.
