Experienced Technician

About the role

Vector Corrosion Technologies is seeking an Experienced Technician to join its on‑site team in Dubai. You will be responsible for installing, maintaining and repairing corrosion mitigation systems on reinforced concrete and masonry structures across a variety of infrastructure projects.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare sites, set up equipment and perform surface preparation for product application.
• Install, maintain and repair corrosion protection systems according to project plans and technical specifications.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, work instructions and specifications.
• Use hand tools, power tools and measurement instruments safely and accurately.
• Complete daily work reports and support site inspections and testing.
• Collaborate with engineers, project supervisors and field teams.
• Follow health, safety and environmental standards on all activities.
• Assist with material handling, inventory control and tool maintenance.

Required profile

• Proven technical experience in installation, repair or maintenance of construction or industrial systems, preferably related to concrete or corrosion protection.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications with strong attention to detail.
• Good understanding of site safety practices and relevant health‑safety regulations.
• Experience on bridges, parking garages, buildings, marine or industrial structures is an asset.
• Reliable, problem‑solver who can work independently and as part of a field team.
• Effective verbal and written communication in English; additional regional language skills are a plus.
• Relevant technical diploma, trade certification or equivalent practical experience.
• Willingness to work outdoors, at heights, in varying weather conditions and travel between project sites.
