Facade Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a skilled Facade Engineer to lead the coordination of façade engineering, procurement, fabrication, delivery, and installation for high‑rise projects. You will work closely with architects, structural and MEP engineers, consultants, and contractors to ensure seamless integration and timely delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate all façade engineering activities from design through installation, ensuring alignment with project programmes.
• Monitor progress against schedules, identify risks, and implement mitigation measures.
• Review shop drawings, material submittals, mock‑ups, and method statements for compliance with specifications and standards.
• Facilitate resolution of technical and construction issues with contractors, consultants, and internal teams.
• Conduct site inspections to verify installation quality, workmanship, and adherence to approved methods.
• Ensure façade systems meet UAE regulations, Dubai Municipality requirements, Civil Defence standards, and international codes.
• Report construction issues and coordinate corrective actions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Architecture, or a related discipline.
• 5–8 years of experience in façade engineering, construction, or building envelope systems, preferably on high‑rise residential, commercial, hospitality, or mixed‑use projects.
• Experience working with developers, main contractors, or specialist façade contractors.

Required skills

• Knowledge of curtain wall, unitized façade, stick, aluminium, glazing, stone and metal cladding, GRC/GFRC systems.
• Understanding of façade procurement, fabrication, installation, testing, and handover processes.
• Familiarity with UAE building regulations, Dubai Municipality, Civil Defence, and international façade standards.
• Ability to review technical drawings, shop drawings, material submittals, and method statements.
• Proficiency in façade installation methodologies and quality control procedures.
