Facilities Coordinator Internship (2027)

About the role

Amazon is looking for a Facilities Coordinator Intern to lead and coach a team that provides both reactive and proactive maintenance for all operational equipment and facilities infrastructure within a Fulfilment Centre. The role directly impacts site productivity and operational success by ensuring equipment availability and performance.

Key responsibilities

• Provide supervision and leadership to Facility Supervisors.
• Develop preventive and predictive maintenance programmes for fulfillment‑centre assets, including material‑handling and automation systems.
• Install, maintain and troubleshoot electrical, control and mechanical systems such as relay logic, ladder diagrams, sensors, scanners, motor starters, relays, limit switches, servo drives, frequency inverters, linear drives, sorters and mechanical components (rolls, bearings, belts).
• Act as a safety ambassador, promoting safe work practices across the site.
• Manage day‑to‑day engineering and soft services, including housekeeping and premises upkeep.
• Oversee employee health‑safety compliance, waste and hazardous‑waste management, and timely licence renewals.

Required profile

• Currently enrolled in or about to graduate with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (graduation between Dec 2027 and Jun 2028).
• Advanced proficiency in spoken and written English.
• Available to start an internship between January and December 2027 for a full‑time period of 3‑6 months (40 h/week).
