About the role
Wood is currently looking for a Planning Engineer to join our team in the UAE. The role supports offshore projects throughout the full project life‑cycle.
Key responsibilities
- Provide project planning and progress reporting for assigned offshore projects in line with client rules.
- Align planning activities with scope and cost information using an integrated project control approach.
- Ensure planning reports accurately reflect project status.
- Liaise with Project Management, Engineering & Design, Procurement, Fabrication and Construction teams.
- Act as the planning subject‑matter expert for stakeholders.
- Contribute project inputs to Integrated Asset Plans.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent with at least 8 years of FEED/EPC experience in oil & gas or petrochemical industry.
- Proven experience with multi‑national, multi‑cultural project teams.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and HSE awareness.
Required skills
- Proficiency in Primavera project planning software.
- Experience with project planning and costing applications.
