Facilities Coordinator – Reliability Maintenance Engineering

About the role

The Facilities Coordinator – Reliability Maintenance Engineering (RME) ensures the smooth operation of all equipment and infrastructure within Amazon’s fulfillment centre in Dubai. You will lead external contractors, respond to emergencies, and drive projects that keep the site productive and safe.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and develop a team of maintenance supervisors and technicians, fostering a safe and efficient work environment.
• Oversee reactive and proactive maintenance of automated equipment, including packaging machinery, sortation and conveyor systems.
• Maintain and improve Asset Performance Management (APM) metrics and compliance KPIs.
• Coordinate vendor annual maintenance contracts (AMCs) with defined service levels.
• Collaborate with the Reliability Engineering Manager, Site Safety, and Site Leadership to implement safety and statutory compliance programs.
• Plan and execute local projects and support larger AMET‑level initiatives.

Required profile

• Proven experience in supervising maintenance teams within an industrial or fulfillment‑center environment.
• Hands‑on knowledge of automated packaging, sortation and conveyor equipment.
• Strong understanding of health and safety regulations and ability to enforce Amazon safety policies.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines and drive continuous improvement.
