Facilities Management Engineer (FM Engineer)

About the role

The FM Engineer at Integrated Facility Management in Abu Dhabi is responsible for ensuring seamless operation and maintenance of all facility systems. The role focuses on delivering high‑quality services that meet client expectations while promoting safety, efficiency, and sustainability.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance of HVAC, electrical, plumbing and fire safety systems.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to coordinate facility projects and upgrades.
• Identify potential issues early and implement practical solutions to mitigate risks.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment performance and safety compliance.
• Ensure adherence to health, safety and environmental regulations across all managed properties.
• Provide technical support and guidance to junior staff and contractors.
• Participate in emergency response planning and execute corrective actions when required.

Required profile

• Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil Engineering or a related field.
• 3‑5 years of experience in facility management or engineering within a complex environment.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., IFMA, BIFM) are advantageous.
