Field Engineer (Offshore Installation)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Field Engineer to join a leading EPC contractor on major oil and gas projects in Abu Dhabi. The role focuses on offshore installation activities, providing on‑site technical support to ensure safe and efficient execution of subsea, jacket and topside works.

Key responsibilities

• Provide field engineering support for offshore installation operations.
• Execute subsea installation tasks including spools, sleepers and S‑Lay pipeline placement.
• Assist with grouted jacket installation and related offshore construction.
• Support topside installation and integration activities.
• Coordinate with offshore teams, contractors and project stakeholders.
• Monitor installation work to ensure compliance with engineering specifications and safety standards.
• Review technical documentation and propose solutions to installation challenges.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
• Minimum 5 years of offshore installation experience, preferably on major oil and gas operator projects in Abu Dhabi.
• Proven experience in subsea, jacket and topside installation.
• Strong understanding of safety and quality requirements in offshore environments.
