Field Maintenance Worker

About the role

Sika is seeking a Field Maintenance Worker to support its admixture, powder and resin plants in Dubai. The role involves performing preventive and corrective maintenance, ensuring equipment reliability, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Execute preventive maintenance (PM) and corrective actions on plant equipment.
• Respond to breakdowns, support root‑cause analysis (RCA) and corrective‑preventive actions (CAPA).
• Inspect equipment, report issues, and manage critical spare parts inventory.
• Assist with shift work, emergency maintenance, and on‑call duties.
• Support installation, commissioning, and modification projects, ensuring contractor safety and proper permits.
• Participate in Kaizen, 5S, and other continuous‑improvement activities.

Required profile

• ITI/Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical or Instrumentation.
• 0–2 years of maintenance experience or recent graduate with relevant technical training.
• Basic knowledge of plant equipment and safety practices (PTW, LOTO).
• Willingness to learn, follow instructions and work in a team.
• Fluent in English and Hindi with good communication skills.
