Field Sales Manager

About the role

We are looking for a dynamic Field Sales Manager to lead our sales and distribution activities across retail outlets in Dubai. Reporting to the Field Excellence Manager, you will drive both sell‑in and sell‑out performance while building strong relationships with key customers.

Key responsibilities

• Develop a strong network and capacity of influence among key customers and purchasers.
• Provide feedback on promotions and retail activities to management to shape activity plans.
• Implement in‑store execution of activity plans through the field team.
• Execute the sales and distribution strategy in the field under the direction of the Field Excellence Manager.
• Achieve quantitative and qualitative net sales targets for both sell‑in and sell‑out turnover.
• Maintain continuous communication between the sales team and management on performance, market dynamics, and competition.
• Conduct monthly/quarterly business reviews with retailers at store level to align on business development.
• Analyze return, collection, and stock reports to identify gaps and opportunities and devise action plans.
• Monitor sell‑in reports by account to understand store performance.
• Anticipate and manage new product launches, ensuring timely listing and discontinuation.
• Coordinate with the Merchandising supervisor to maximize collaboration and ensure efficient merchandising implementation.
• Oversee the order cycle, delivery, and stock availability, communicating effectively with involved functions.
• Manage the collection process and ensure on‑time payment according to company policy.
• Calculate commissions and submit them to HR in coordination with the Channel Manager.
• Develop and motivate the field team through coaching, on‑the‑job learning, and constructive feedback.

Required profile

• 4 to 6 years of experience in a similar field sales role within a relevant industry.
• Proven experience in key account management, sales operations, achieving business targets, and people management in the FMCG sector.
