Field Service Technician – Volvo Construction Equipment

About the role

We are seeking a skilled Field Service Technician to support the maintenance, repair, inspection and troubleshooting of Volvo construction equipment across customer sites in Dubai. The role ensures machine reliability, minimizes downtime and delivers high‑quality technical support.

Key responsibilities

• Remove, install, disassemble and assemble major components such as engines, transmissions and axles.
• Diagnose and repair hydraulic, electrical, engine and transmission systems using approved procedures and technical documentation.
• Conduct machine inspections, identify maintenance requirements and recommend additional services.
• Maintain accurate service records, job cards and timesheets in line with quality and compliance standards.
• Communicate repair status and technical findings to customers, supervisors and colleagues.

Required profile

• Valid UAE driving licence.
• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 3‑5 years of hands‑on experience maintaining and repairing Volvo or other construction equipment.
• Strong technical knowledge of engines, transmissions, axles, hydraulics and electrical systems.
• Good written and spoken English communication skills.

Required skills

• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, wiring diagrams and service documentation.
• Diagnostic and troubleshooting experience across hydraulic, electrical, engine and transmission systems.
