Finance Director

About the role

The Finance Director will partner directly with the Managing Director and regional leaders to shape investment decisions across artists, catalog, partnerships, and acquisitions. This senior role ensures robust financial governance, operational excellence, and strategic insight for the business.

Key responsibilities

• Act as strategic finance partner to the Managing Director and functional heads, providing insights to drive growth, profitability and risk mitigation.
• Lead short‑term and long‑term financial planning, budgeting and forecasting aligned with business strategy.
• Evaluate new business opportunities, partnerships, acquisitions and artist/content investments through financial modelling and ROI analysis.
• Develop and monitor KPIs across revenue streams (catalogue, licensing, digital, physical, etc.) and drive margin improvement initiatives.
• Own annual operating plans, budgets and ensure timely, accurate reporting and month‑end close.
• Oversee general ledger, statutory filings, shareholder reports and audit relations.
• Manage cash‑flow reporting, VAT compliance, fixed‑asset accounting and royalty accounting.
• Supervise accounts payable, accounts receivable, revenue recognition and AR analysis.

Required profile

• Proven experience in senior finance leadership, preferably within a media or entertainment environment.
• Strong track record in budgeting, forecasting, M&A execution and financial reporting.
• Demonstrated ability to work closely with executive teams and influence strategic decisions.
