Finance Manager

About the role

Geely Auto Group is seeking an experienced Finance Manager to lead finance operations for the Middle East region, based in the UAE. The role involves overseeing accounting, tax compliance, and financial reporting to support the company’s rapid growth.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the general ledger, ensuring timely month‑end, quarter‑end and year‑end closings.
• Review daily journals, perform bank reconciliations and reconcile accounts receivable/payable.
• Maintain the asset ledger, calculate depreciation and handle asset disposals.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) in line with local and international standards.
• Produce financial analysis reports, identify accounting risks and coordinate investigations.
• Support tax calculation, filing and analysis, and work with auditors on tax audits.
• Drive process improvements and system optimisation for financial workflows.
• Collaborate with internal finance teams, business units and external parties such as auditors and tax authorities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in international finance, preferably in the automotive industry.
• Strong knowledge of local and International Financial Reporting Standards.
• Proven experience with tax compliance and audit coordination.
• Excellent analytical abilities and attention to detail.
