Finance Manager

About the role

We are looking for a Finance Manager to lead the financial control, reporting and compliance function for Friendi Pay, part of Beyond ONE. You will own the integrity of the books, ensure timely statutory and regulatory reporting, and act as the primary finance contact for auditors and the Central Bank of Oman.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare monthly management accounts with variance analysis against budget and prior periods.
• Conduct monthly financial reviews with the CEO and leadership team covering P&L, balance sheet, cash and key drivers.
• Lead the annual budgeting cycle and maintain a rolling 12‑month forecast.
• Prepare the finance section of quarterly board packs, including actuals, forecasts and KPI commentary.
• Manage the monthly, quarterly and annual close in line with IFRS, maintaining general ledger integrity and reconciliations.
• Produce statutory financial statements and ensure alignment with management reporting.
• Strengthen internal controls, accounting policies and finance governance.
• Submit all regulatory returns required of a Payment Service Provider and ensure full compliance.
• Lead external audit end‑to‑end, acting as the primary contact for auditors and addressing technical accounting areas such as revenue recognition, IFRS 16 leases and impairment.

Required profile

• Proven experience in finance leadership within a regulated environment, preferably payments or telecom.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with senior management, auditors and regulators.
• Detail‑oriented and able to manage multiple reporting cycles simultaneously.
