Finance Manager

About the role

We are seeking a Finance Manager to lead our small finance and accounting team in Dubai. The role involves overseeing month‑end close, managing receivables/payables and ensuring compliance with UAE tax regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise a finance team of two members and coordinate daily accounting activities.
• Prepare monthly and annual profit & loss statements and balance sheets.
• Monitor receivables, payables and perform regular bank reconciliations.
• Pass general ledger entries, depreciation, amortisation and other adjustments.
• Generate management information reports and debtors ageing analysis.
• Prepare audit schedules and support external auditors during annual audits.
• Submit quarterly VAT filings and corporate tax returns.
• Produce ad‑hoc financial reports as required.

Required profile

• Currently residing in the UAE with at least 2 years of UAE‑related finance experience (5 years preferred).
• Internationally recognised accounting qualification (ACCA, CA, CPA, CMA or equivalent).
• Experience working with auditors and knowledge of UAE VAT and corporate tax regulations.
• Fluent English and ability to work independently.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Excel.
• Hands‑on experience with accounting software such as Peachtree, Tally, QuickBooks or Xero.
