Financial Analyst

About the role

SORP Group, an international consulting, logistics and investment firm based in Dubai, is seeking a Financial Analyst to join its finance department. The role involves efficiently handling internal and external financial requests and preparing accurate financial information for management and external parties.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in preparation and modelling of management (P&L) and analytical reporting.
• Calculate and control costs.
• Collect, verify and aggregate data for bank and counter‑party questionnaires, including turnover forecasts, currency transactions and covenant compliance.
• Prepare responses to banks, auditors and regulatory authorities.
• Produce analytical tables, ad‑hoc reports and short explanatory notes for management.
• Manage reconciliations and financial settlement statements.
• Ensure accuracy of all provided data.

Required profile

• Full professional proficiency in English and Russian.
• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Audit or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in consulting, trading, logistics, audit, banking or financial institutions in a financial, credit, junior auditor or analyst role.
• Strong analytical mindset, high attention to detail and ability to handle large volumes of information.
