Financial Controller – Hospitality

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Financial Controller to lead the finance function of our hospitality operations in Dubai. Reporting to the General Manager and Group CFO, you will ensure accurate financial reporting, robust fiscal management, and strategic support for business growth.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee accounting, budgeting, forecasting, treasury, and cash‑flow management.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS.
• Lead the annual budgeting and financial planning process with department heads.
• Manage working capital, banking relationships and financing arrangements.
• Ensure compliance with UAE VAT, corporate tax and other statutory obligations.
• Coordinate external audits and act as primary contact for auditors.
• Implement internal controls, financial policies and procedures.
• Provide strategic financial insights to senior leadership.
• Lead, mentor and develop the finance team.
• Liaise with investors, banks, legal advisors and regulators as needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting.
• Minimum 3 years experience as a Financial Controller in a 5‑star hotel environment.
• Proven expertise in financial reporting, budgeting, internal controls and UAE regulatory compliance.
• Strong analytical, communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• High integrity, professionalism and commercial acumen.
