Financial Controller

About the role

The Financial Controller will lead the finance function for Telcovas in Dubai, ensuring accurate financial reporting, robust controls and strategic insight to support the fast‑growing telecom technology business.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day financial operations, including general ledger, month‑end and year‑end closing, and preparation of financial statements in line with IFRS and UAE regulations.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting and cash‑flow management processes to support strategic planning.
• Implement and maintain internal controls, ensure timely reporting and coordinate with external auditors, banks and regulatory bodies.
• Provide financial analysis for commercial decisions, contracts and business expansion initiatives.
• Manage regional finance operations, audits and compliance with UAE corporate tax, VAT and international tax requirements.

Required profile

• 10+ years of finance and accounting experience, with at least 5 years in a Finance Controller or similar leadership role.
• Professional qualification such as CA, ACCA, CPA, CMA or ACA.
• Strong knowledge of UAE corporate tax, VAT, IFRS and mainland/offshore entity structures.
• Experience with multi‑country operations, cross‑border transactions and international taxation, including African tax regulations.
• Prior experience in telecom, technology, cybersecurity or related sectors is preferred.
