Financial Controller – Real Estate & Development

About the role

We are looking for a driven Financial Controller to lead the finance and accounting function for FIVE Real Estate’s portfolio of luxury hotel and lifestyle developments. You will ensure accurate reporting, robust financial control and strategic insight across property development, investment and operating activities.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee all finance and accounting operations, guaranteeing smooth and efficient processes.
• Prepare and present monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in line with IFRS, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Maintain strong financial control and governance across real‑estate, development and operating projects.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting and cash‑flow management for development activities.
• Manage contract accounting, cost control and project‑based financial reporting.
• Collaborate with senior stakeholders and cross‑functional teams to support commercial decisions.

Required profile

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with 7–10 years of finance experience in real‑estate, development or construction environments.
• Proven track record in financial control, reporting and governance for property development or real‑estate investment.
• Strong technical knowledge of IFRS, especially for real‑estate assets and construction contracts.
• Advanced financial modelling, budgeting, forecasting and cash‑flow management skills.
• Hands‑on experience in contract accounting, cost control and project‑based financial management.
• Excellent communication in English and a proactive, detail‑oriented attitude.
