Financial Director

About the role

We are seeking a Finance Director to lead the finance function of a fast‑growing, investor‑backed health‑tech company. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will shape financial strategy, ensure robust reporting, and build the infrastructure needed for international expansion.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee all financial reporting, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and IFRS compliance.
• Manage month‑end, quarter‑end, and year‑end close processes and all accounting operations.
• Develop and maintain financial controls, policies, and procedures across multiple jurisdictions.
• Prepare management reports, board packs, and investor updates with clear performance insights.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, financial planning and business modelling activities.
• Monitor cash flow, liquidity, working capital and capital allocation to support growth.
• Partner with business leaders to evaluate commercial performance and investment decisions.
• Coordinate external audits, tax compliance and statutory reporting.
• Support fundraising, due‑diligence and investor relations initiatives.
• Build and mentor a high‑performing finance team as the business scales.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field.
• Professional accounting qualification (ACCA, ACA, CPA, CA or equivalent).
• 8–12 years of progressive finance experience, including leadership in a high‑growth environment.
• Strong technical accounting knowledge with proven IFRS reporting experience.
