Financial Reporting Specialist

About the role

We are supporting a leading financial services organisation in Dubai that is looking for a Financial Reporting Specialist to join its Finance team. This role offers the chance to own financial and regulatory reporting, work closely with senior stakeholders and help strengthen the organisation's financial control environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead financial and regulatory reporting in accordance with IFRS, CBUAE Prudential Regulations and Basel requirements.
• Prepare and review periodic financial statements and regulatory submissions, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Support and strengthen the organisation's financial control framework and governance standards.
• Produce management reporting, financial analysis and performance reporting for senior leadership.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external auditors to ensure robust financial reporting and regulatory compliance.

Required profile

• Minimum of 3 years experience in financial reporting within banking or a similar financial services environment.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce or a related discipline.
• Arabic language proficiency preferred.
