Fire Sealant Applicator

About the role

We are seeking a skilled Fire Sealant Applicator to join our fire protection team in Dubai. The role focuses on applying fire‑resistant sealants and related materials around service penetrations, joints and openings to preserve fire compartmentation in commercial and industrial buildings.

Key responsibilities

• Apply fire‑rated sealants, foams, collars, wraps and boards to penetrations and joints according to project specifications.
• Prepare surfaces by cleaning, cutting and treating areas before application.
• Interpret fire‑stopping plans, drawings and method statements.
• Ensure all products meet manufacturer and safety guidelines and label each installation for inspection.
• Collaborate with site supervisors, safety officers and QA/QC teams to maintain compliance.
• Maintain tools, equipment and safe storage of materials.
• Follow strict health‑and‑safety procedures, especially when working at heights or in confined spaces.

Required profile

• Familiarity with various fire‑stopping systems and UL‑approved products.
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings and specifications.
• Attention to detail and high workmanship standards.
• Basic knowledge of safety practices in construction and MEP environments.
• Physically fit and able to work in demanding conditions.
