First Officer

About the role

Emirates is seeking motivated First Officers to join its fast‑paced airline operation in Dubai. As a First Officer you will work alongside a multinational crew, operating long‑haul flights and contributing to the airline’s reputation for safety and service excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Captain in operating scheduled flights safely and efficiently.
• Conduct pre‑flight checks, monitor aircraft systems, and manage communications with air traffic control.
• Maintain situational awareness and support decision‑making during all phases of flight.

Required profile

• Minimum 2,000 total flight hours on jets of 20 tonnes or more (or 1,000 hours on the specific aircraft type).
• Valid ICAO ATPL and matching Authority Class 1 Medical certificate.
• ICAO English Level 4 (or Level 5 for enhanced package).
• Current type rating on Boeing 777, Airbus FBW, A380 or A350 as applicable.

Required skills

• B777 or other ≥20 t jet experience.
• Airbus Fly‑By‑Wire type rating (A380, A350).
• ICAO ATPL licence.
• Class 1 Medical certificate.
• ICAO English Level 4 or higher.
