Fleet Maintenance Specialist (Remote)

About the role

Halvion is seeking a detail‑oriented Fleet Maintenance Specialist to manage maintenance planning, inspections, repairs and reliability initiatives for its vehicle fleet. The position is fully remote and supports the company’s aim of safe, reliable and cost‑effective transportation assets.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance activities for fleet vehicles.
• Maintain accurate maintenance schedules, service records and vehicle mileage/operating‑hour data.
• Arrange routine servicing, inspections, repairs and technical checks with internal technicians and external workshops.
• Track breakdowns, monitor repair progress, verify completed work and ensure proper documentation.
• Support fleet inspections, road‑worthiness checks and monitor vehicle availability and downtime.
• Assist with maintenance cost tracking, budget monitoring and procurement of spare parts, tires and lubricants.
• Evaluate supplier and workshop performance, obtain quotations and manage service‑contract and warranty administration.
• Identify recurring issues, conduct root‑cause analysis and recommend corrective actions.
• Monitor fleet‑maintenance KPIs, prepare regular reports and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
• Contribute to vehicle lifecycle planning and the implementation of fleet‑management systems.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Automotive Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Fleet Management or Transport Management.
• Mid‑level experience in vehicle maintenance planning and coordination.
• Strong organizational abilities and capacity to work with workshops, suppliers and internal operations teams.
• Detail‑oriented mindset with a focus on reliability and cost efficiency.
