Fleet Operations Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Fleet & Equipment Operations Manager to oversee a large construction fleet in Sharjah, UAE. The fleet includes over 200 vehicles, pickups, asphalt machinery, piling machines, Bobcats, and other construction equipment.

Key responsibilities

• Allocate vehicles and equipment to projects based on operational needs.
• Manage telematics, GPS tracking, and fuel control systems.
• Plan and coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance.
• Supervise drivers and equipment operators, ensuring safe and efficient use.
• Handle regulatory compliance, permits, registrations, and fines management.
• Monitor and optimise fleet operating costs.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Logistics, Transportation, Automotive Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in the UAE construction sector.
• Strong background in managing large construction fleets and equipment.
• Excellent knowledge of UAE transport regulations and compliance requirements.
