Food & Beverage Cost Controller

About the role

We are seeking a detail‑oriented Food & Beverage Cost Controller to oversee costing, inventory, and financial performance across multiple restaurant outlets. You will work closely with operations and finance teams to ensure accurate cost reporting and drive profitability.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct regular outlet audits, spot checks, and fraud investigations, taking corrective actions as needed.
• Manage the Tevalis POS and inventory management system for accurate stock tracking.
• Perform food, beverage, recipe, and menu costing, as well as inventory control and variance analysis.
• Prepare and analyze daily, weekly, and monthly cost reports, identifying discrepancies and recommending improvements.
• Collaborate with operations to improve portion control, reduce waste, and optimize inventory levels.
• Execute supplier price comparisons, invoice verification, and purchase analysis.

Required profile

• Mandatory experience in F&B restaurants with multiple outlets.
• Hands‑on experience with Tevalis POS and inventory management.
• Strong knowledge of COGS, gross profit margins, yield calculations, and cost optimization.
• Excellent analytical, numerical, and problem‑solving abilities.
• High attention to detail and ability to work independently while collaborating with cross‑functional teams.
• Knowledge of UAE food safety standards and restaurant operations is an advantage.
