About the role

The Food & Beverage Service Apprentice on the Wet Deck supports the Guest Service team in delivering memorable dining experiences for hotel guests. This entry‑level position offers hands‑on training in a dynamic hospitality environment at Yas Island, Abu Dhabi.

Key responsibilities

• Set up and clear tables, ensuring a clean and inviting dining area.
• Communicate guest orders to the kitchen and coordinate service timing.
• Serve food and beverages courteously, responding to guest requests promptly.
• Maintain cleanliness of workstations, equipment, and service areas.
• Assist with inventory checks, restocking supplies, and handling light lifting tasks (up to 25 lb unassisted, 50 lb with assistance).
• Follow health, safety, and hygiene standards at all times.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.).
• Less than one year of related experience; no supervisory experience required.
• Ability to work on feet for extended periods and navigate uneven or slippery surfaces.
• Strong communication skills and a professional appearance.
