About the role

The Guest Service Expert creates memorable dining experiences for guests at W Hotels, combining food and beverage service with attentive hospitality. The role involves setting tables, coordinating with the kitchen, serving guests, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Setting tables and ensuring they are ready for guests.
• Communicating orders and requests with the kitchen.
• Interacting with and serving guests throughout their dining experience.
• Cleaning work areas and maintaining supplies.
• Upholding safety standards, company policies and quality standards.
• Maintaining a professional uniform and personal appearance.
• Standing, walking and moving on uneven or slippery surfaces for extended periods.
• Reading and visually verifying menu information.
• Moving, lifting, carrying, pushing or pulling objects up to 25 lb unaided and up to 50 lb with assistance.
• Reaching overhead, bending, twisting, pulling and stooping as required.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• Less than one year of related food‑and‑beverage experience.
• No prior supervisory experience required.
• No specific license or certification needed.
