Food & Beverage Supervisor

About the role

The Palazzo Versace Dubai is seeking a proactive Food & Beverage Supervisor to lead its service staff and ensure an exceptional dining experience for guests across all events. This on‑site role requires a keen eye for detail, strong leadership, and the ability to anticipate guest needs.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise the service staff team, ensuring standards are applied 100% of the time.
• Be punctual, greet colleagues and report to the supervisor at the start of each shift.
• Deliver an enjoyable, expertly served beverage and dining experience for all events.
• Anticipate and fulfill guest requirements before they are requested.
• Utilize the hotel’s computer system to ring up sales, print and close checks, and complete end‑of‑day readings.
• Assess guest satisfaction, resolve issues promptly, and inform management of resolutions.
• Prepare set‑ups and mise‑en‑place for the next day’s events.
• Maintain cleanliness and tidiness in all service, store, and back‑area zones.
• Handle cash and credit‑card transactions according to accounting guidelines.

Required profile

• Basic hotel school diploma.
• Minimum of 2 years experience in a multicultural 5‑star hotel environment.
• Multi‑skilled with experience in food & beverage or event operations.
• Ability to work quickly and accurately, managing last‑minute activities.
• Capability to handle luxury guest volumes on a daily basis.
• Proven ability to work under pressure in a customer‑service setting.
• Flexible with the capacity to work long hours.
• Creative and positive mindset.
• Experience working in diverse cultural environments.
