Front Desk Agent

About the role

Mandarin Oriental Downtown, Dubai is seeking a Front Desk Agent to join its Front Office team. The role involves delivering legendary hospitality to guests, ensuring smooth check‑in and check‑out experiences, and supporting the overall guest journey in a luxury hotel environment.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome guests, manage check‑in and check‑out procedures, and handle guest preferences with meticulous attention to detail.
• Process invoices, vouchers, and cash transactions, ensuring accurate drawer balancing and coordination with Accounting and Night Duty Manager.
• Collaborate closely with Concierge, Housekeeping, Reservations and other departments to provide seamless service throughout the guest stay.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of hotel products, services, and promotions to answer guest inquiries effectively.
• Escort guests when required and ensure all correspondence follows the hotel’s service standards.

Required profile

• Minimum 24 months of experience in a front office or reception role within the hospitality sector.
• Demonstrated ability to work in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment while upholding integrity and respect.
• Strong communication skills and a growth‑mindset oriented toward continuous improvement.
