Front Desk Manager

About the role

The Front Desk Manager leads the guest reception area at Sheraton Dubai, ensuring smooth check‑in and check‑out processes, accurate billing, and a high level of service for all guests.

Key responsibilities

• Process guest check‑ins, verify identity and payment, assign rooms and issue keys.
• Set up guest accounts, enter Marriott Rewards information and ensure rates match market codes.
• Secure payment, adjust billing as needed, and handle all payment types, vouchers and paid‑outs.
• Compile daily reports, cashier and closing reports, and manage cash handling and bank drops.
• Provide guests with directions, property information and accommodate special requests, following up to ensure satisfaction.
• Notify loss prevention of any theft reports and follow accounting procedures for manual authorizations.
• Assist management with training, evaluating, counseling and coaching front‑desk staff.
• Maintain compliance with company policies, safety procedures and confidentiality requirements.
• Use computers and POS systems to enter and locate information accurately.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• At least 1 year of related work experience in guest services or front‑desk operations.
• At least 1 year of supervisory experience.

Required skills

• Proficiency with POS systems and basic computer applications.
