Front Office Manager

About the role

The Front Office Manager role supports the overall operation of the hotel’s front office, ensuring seamless guest experiences from arrival to departure. Working under the Front Office Manager, you will supervise key front‑office areas such as bell staff, switchboard and the front desk, while driving service excellence and financial performance.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Front Office Manager in daily administration of front office functions, including Bell/Door staff, switchboard and guest services/front desk.
• Supervise staff to ensure efficient check‑in and check‑out processes and maintain high guest satisfaction.
• Handle guest complaints, resolve disputes and ensure timely communication with guests and team members.
• Monitor staffing levels, schedule shifts and ensure operational and financial targets are met.
• Communicate business objectives, recognize performance and drive results across the front office team.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED with at least 2 years of experience in guest services, front desk or a related area, OR a 2‑year degree in Hotel & Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration or a related field.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to lead, influence and support team members.
• Ability to understand and contribute to the property’s financial goals.
