Front Office Manager

About the role

The Front Office Manager will support the senior Front Office Manager in overseeing all front‑office operations, including Bell staff, switchboard, and guest services. This role ensures smooth check‑in/check‑out processes, high guest satisfaction, and optimal financial performance of the department.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily front‑office activities, ensuring service standards and operational efficiency.
• Handle guest complaints, resolve disputes, and maintain high levels of guest satisfaction.
• Manage staffing levels, schedule shifts, and ensure coverage during absences.
• Communicate business objectives to the team, recognize performance, and drive results.
• Act as the point of contact for front‑office operations when the Front Office Manager or Assistant is unavailable.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED with at least 2 years of guest‑services or front‑desk experience, OR a 2‑year degree in Hotel Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to lead, motivate, and develop a team.
• Understanding of how front‑office performance impacts overall property financial goals.
