Full-Time Lifeguard – Dubai

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Lifeguard to join our team at Le Méridien Dubai Marina. This full‑time position ensures the safety and enjoyment of guests using the hotel’s swimming facilities.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor the pool area, identify swimmers in distress and apply appropriate rescue techniques.
• Enforce pool rules and regulations, and promote a safe, fun environment.
• Provide first‑aid assistance to injured guests until emergency services arrive.
• Maintain cleanliness of the pool deck, handle towels, and perform routine pool‑side cleaning.
• Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions to management.
• Welcome guests, ensure professional appearance, and assist guests with disabilities.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid CPR and First Aid certifications.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and stand for extended periods.
• Physical capability to lift up to 50 lb unassisted and up to 75 lb with assistance.

Required skills

• CPR certification.
• First Aid certification.
