Games Room Attendant

About the role

The Games Room Attendant is the primary point of contact for guests using the hotel’s recreation facilities, including the games room, pool, beach, fitness centre and children’s activity area. You will create a welcoming, safe and enjoyable environment while supporting a range of leisure activities and events.

Key responsibilities

• Provide information and guidance on all recreation facilities and services.
• Encourage, register and schedule guests for activities and events.
• Promote a fun atmosphere while enforcing safety rules and regulations.
• Monitor activities, respond to emergencies, and assist injured guests until medical help arrives.
• Handle point‑of‑sale transactions, process payments for rentals and retail sales.
• Assist with private functions and group events in recreation areas.
• Maintain cleanliness and upkeep of equipment, supplies and facilities.
• Report accidents, injuries and unsafe conditions to management.
• Uphold company policies, uniform standards and confidentiality of information.
• Deliver courteous service to all guests, including those with disabilities.

Required profile

• Physical stamina to stand, walk, lift and move objects up to 25 kg for extended periods.
• Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with guests and team members.
• Awareness of safety procedures and capacity to act calmly in emergency situations.
• Professional appearance and commitment to maintaining confidentiality.

Required skills

• Operation of point‑of‑sale (POS) systems.
• Basic computer usage for data entry and information retrieval.
