General Accountant – Travel & Tourism

About the role

Black Pearl is seeking a reliable General Accountant to support its family‑owned travel business in Al Ain. The role offers the chance to handle day‑to‑day accounting tasks while providing accurate financial information to owners and management.

Key responsibilities

• Process accounts payable and receivable, receipts, payments and expenses.
• Maintain up‑to‑date accounting records and financial documentation.
• Prepare invoices, payment vouchers, receipts and other accounting documents.
• Reconcile bank accounts, cash transactions and other financial records.
• Monitor outstanding receivables and payables and follow up as needed.
• Assist with monthly financial closing and basic report preparation.
• Support budgeting, cash‑flow monitoring and expense tracking.
• Coordinate with banks, suppliers and customers on accounting matters.
• Handle VAT documentation and ensure compliance with UAE accounting regulations.
• Provide financial information, reports and analysis to management when required.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• 2‑3 years of accounting experience in the UAE, preferably in travel or tourism.
• Strong attention to detail, organization and ability to work independently.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to work on‑site in Al Ain.

Required skills

• Proficiency with accounting software.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
