General Foreman (Infrastructure)

About the role

The General Foreman (Infrastructure) leads multiple foremen and construction crews on large‑scale infrastructure projects. The role ensures daily activities across several work fronts meet programme schedules, quality standards, and safety requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate daily work allocation for multiple foremen and crews, resolving resourcing conflicts and escalating when necessary.
• Monitor work quality against drawings and specifications, enforcing HSE standards on all fronts.
• Plan manpower, material, and equipment to meet programme milestones and liaise with Procurement and Stores for timely deliveries.
• Track productivity and progress, providing daily and weekly updates to the Site Supervisor and Project Engineer.
• Mentor foremen, identify training needs, and promote best practices in supervision, quality, and safety.
• Introduce modern tools and processes to improve efficiency, transparency, and cost‑effectiveness.

Required profile

• Technical diploma or trade certificate in a civil/infrastructure discipline.
• 8–10 years of infrastructure site experience.
• At least 3 years supervising multiple crews or work fronts simultaneously.
• Strong knowledge of civil construction methods, materials, and installation practices.
• Familiarity with UAE/GCC HSE regulations and site safety requirements.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and QA processes.
• Clear verbal communication in a multicultural environment and accurate progress reporting.

Required skills

• MS Office basics (Excel, Word) for daily reporting.
• Use of site‑management or digital reporting tools (as employed on Innovo projects).
