General Manager Engineering & Construction - Arabic Speaker

About the role

We are seeking an experienced General Manager to lead our Engineering & Construction business in Dubai. The role oversees all operational, commercial and strategic activities, ensuring revenue growth, profitability and high standards of safety and quality.

Key responsibilities

• Lead overall business operations and achieve revenue and profitability targets.
• Develop and execute strategies for sustainable growth.
• Oversee project management, project controls, resource planning and cost management.
• Lead major commercial and contractual negotiations.
• Identify new business opportunities and support market expansion.
• Build and maintain relationships with key clients, consultants, contractors and partners.
• Monitor performance, implement corrective actions and manage business risks.
• Ensure high standards of HSE, quality, compliance and customer satisfaction.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (mandatory); MBA or relevant Master's preferred.
• 15+ years of experience in engineering, construction or related industry.
• Minimum 6 years in a senior management role such as General Manager, Business Manager or Operations Manager.
• Proven track record of P&L responsibility, revenue and profitability management.
• Strong commercial, contractual and business development experience.
• Excellent leadership, negotiation, analytical and decision‑making skills.
