General Manager – Luxury Hotel

About the role

Paramount Hotel Dubai is seeking an experienced General Manager to lead the property into its next phase of growth. You will be responsible for delivering operational excellence, driving commercial performance, and ensuring an outstanding guest experience.

Key responsibilities

• Own overall profitability and translate strategic goals into measurable results.
• Lead the Executive Committee and ensure all departments meet operational, financial and service standards.
• Champion guest experience initiatives, using feedback to drive continuous improvement.
• Build a high‑performing, diverse team through coaching, development and strong leadership.
• Identify commercial opportunities, innovate and improve operational efficiency while protecting the Paramount brand.
• Partner with ownership, asset management and key stakeholders to achieve long‑term business success.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years’ experience as General Manager in a 5‑star hotel or resort.
• Proven track record of improving profitability, guest satisfaction and operational performance.
• Strong commercial and financial acumen with experience managing high‑volume operations.
• Experience working with owners and asset managers.
• Middle‑East or resort experience is an advantage.
• Business/Hotel Management qualification; MBA is a plus.
• Fluent business English; additional languages, especially Arabic, are highly desirable.
