General Manager (Tiles)

About the role

The company is a leading tiles trading business in Dubai seeking a dynamic General Manager to drive commercial growth, oversee operations and manage the full P&L of the tiles division. This senior position requires deep expertise in the UAE tiles market and a strong strategic mindset.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute commercial strategies to increase market share, revenue and profitability.
• Manage the complete P&L, including budgeting, forecasting, cost control and margin optimization.
• Source high‑quality tile products, negotiate terms with global manufacturers and control inventory levels.
• Lead B2B, project specification and channel sales, cultivating relationships with developers, consultants, interior designers and contractors.
• Supervise daily warehouse, logistics, showroom and administrative operations to ensure seamless order fulfilment.
• Build, mentor and lead a high‑performing sales and operations team.

Required profile

• Minimum 8–10 years of senior management experience within the UAE tiles or surface solutions sector.
• Extensive knowledge of the local construction and trading ecosystem.
• Valid UAE driving licence.
• Strong leadership with a hands‑on problem‑solving approach.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills in English.
